I painted these freak show banners for the set of a T.V. movie called Elvis and the Colonel. Staring Beau Bridges as Elvis's manager "the Colonel" who got his start as a freak show barker.

I designed the cover and all 12 tabs of the 1999 LA411 source book. It depicts L.A. 20 years in the future. Almost there!
To really get to know the whole story of Dusty Seco and what he's made of you must first check out his 222 page graphic novel "Dusty Seco Desert Drifter" by Domonic Dean Breaux, or his website at

These nicely drawn episodes were created after the books completion.
At my day gig that I had a few years ago, the folks there don't mind if I draw while answering phones. Since they're in the biz there is an endless stream of Variety magazines and other trades that run through the place. It was hard to resist. These are the best of over about eight or nine months.
See if you can tell who's who.
I love taking pictures but mostly I love taking pictures of my daughter.
